What's New in Goldfish 4.4 Part 7: Onlineshop

In this series, we will show you interesting new features of Goldfish 4.4. Today: The new online shop. From Goldfish 4.4, the online shop also supports the payment methods credit card, direct debit and invoice, provided by PayPal Plus.

In Goldfish 4.4 we have fundamentally revised the online shop. The new online shop offers much more flexibility through new functions for you and your customers.

The new features in detail:

• The online shop runs now always in a single window. If you use PayPal, the redirection will be automatic and PayPal will no longer open a new window. As a result, the online shop runs now much smoother on mobile devices.
  
• You can now offer the payment methods credit card, direct debit and invoice.  With PayPal Plus, the payments are directly credited to your PayPal account in all three cases. PayPal even assumes the risk of payment default and you will get your money paid out in any case. *
  
• It is now possible to place an order on a company.
  
• Sales tax can now be set per country. This allows you to correctly calculate the tax according to EU rules (domestic, EU foreign private customer, EU foreign corporate customer with VAT ID or third country).
  
• You can give a general discount like "10% on everything".
  
• With coding skills, you can add more payment providers. For this, the new online shop offers a SDK.
